and disgusting versions of racism and bigotry, don’t they realize that Hitler totally wrecked Germany? I can’t imagine how he could be a role model for literally anyone.

And when I visited the USSR in the late '80s with my grandmother's peace group there were plaques and statues everywhere honoring those were were lost in that terrible war. It was actually much worse for Russians since it was fought on their own soil. There were even museums in the schools so the children would never forget - though this was under Gorbachev. *sigh*
