Members from the Democratic Women’s Caucus, along with several members from the Democratic Caucus and Rep.-elect Adelita Grijalva, marched through the Capitol to House Speaker Mike Johnson's office Tuesday night, chanting "swear her in" for Grijalva.

Grijalva, an Arizona Democrat who won a special election last month to succeed her late father, has yet to be sworn in for her seat in Congress. Johnson says she'll be sworn in when the House returns to session and blames the government shutdown for the delay. - Aired on 10/14/2025.

They say (not all of them joking, depending on their own experiences) that men over thirty are like public toilets: they are either taken, or they are full of shit.

Johnson is over thirty, but I don't think anyone even cares if he is taken or not, because he is so obviously the other part of the comparison.
