Supreme Court could pave way for 'gross imbalance': Atty who defended voting rights before the court - The Weeknight MSNBC

The Supreme Court appears open to limiting a key section of the Voting Rights Act, a move Politico reports could hand Republicans up to 19 more House seats through redistricting. Janai Nelson, president and director-counsel of the NAACP Legal Defense Fund, argued today in front of the Court. She is joined by Rick Hasen, professor of law and political science at UCLA Law School, to explain what’s at stake. - Aired on 10/15/2025.

Michael Steel’s comments gives me hope that section 2 of the voting rights act is not DOA. We all know how Thomas, and alito will vote. Are the others up for sale? Do they want one party rule?
I’ve often…very often said, don’t they see there’s only room at the top for one?. If they allow this, taco has what he wants and will in short abolish the body!
