He's the only president I've ever seen in person when he came to my Northeastern New York district to campaign for the Democratic congressional candidate in 2006. It was standing room only to see the president - and the event was held at a local airport. And his speech was so well received that the Democratic candidate unseated the Republican incumbent. I believe he made the difference!
