1. He behaves as if

1) He is not worried about the midterms at all, perhaps knowing the fix is in or using the Army and legal challenges to prevent the new congress from being seated, or
2) He knows he will lose at least the House and is accomplishing as much of his agenda as he can now, or
3) Doctors have told him his expiration date is rapidly approaching and he is getting as much done as he can now.
The new congress should be sworn in roughly a year from today, if that is allowed to happen.
I am betting that Greenland or Cuba is next on Chomolini’s to do list. He has a year. Cuba would benefit him more politically, but Greenland is maybe an easier target.

We are in for a bumpy ride and the seat belt sign is on. There is really nothing or no one to stop him. The military and the supreme court will do whatever he wants.

2. Terrific points and I sure agree

From what we've heard, I can't help wondering either if he's insulated against what's really going on or if he only pays attention to what he chooses. I remember just before the shutdown that Schumer and Jeffries got a rare - and short - audience with him. And he absolutely had no idea what they were talking about. And we know that he acts like the Democrats don't exist.

As for Greenland, after his "successful" invasion of Venezuela, he may have decided that's next on his list. A day or two I posted a video of Denmark's Prime Minister saying that they were readying their military just in case he targeted Greenland.

That's the thing, in less than a year he's alienated our closest and oldest allies, especially Canada, in favor of his preferred money making friends in the Middle East. And his treatment of Ukraine has been just loathsome. And of course that has further alienated the EU and Canada.
