1. Turned off ALL MSM eight years ago. In 2008 I joined DU. Which makes me a 16 year member. The first 8 years I would...

..... look in occasionally, time permitting. But as we started hearing Trump's bullshit, I became a regular morning with coffee and DU. At about the same time, the wife and I decided we were fed up with the "well, they both do it" when we could clearly see that was false.

So we joined BritBox and AcornTV based on friends who told us the programming was so much better. We also started a Guardian subscription and started getting our national news from them. Recently, we have added Ground News to our daily news gathering.

So, the bottom line is our news sources are DU, The Guardian, and Ground News.

We have Amazon Prime and have moved our stand-alone BritBox and AcornTV to a Prime Subscription.

We do not regret our decision to shun all US news and entertainment, although it is a little hard to tell our friends that we have no idea what this program or that program's storylines are.

3. I've never been interested in checking out "Morning Joe".

Not in the least. Joe Scarborough is a turn-off, and has been a turn-off for quite awhile.

I’ve never understood his appeal (to WHOM, for Pete’s sake!).

I can think of multiple other talking heads who’d do at least as good a job as he has. Hell, I’D do a better job than Joe Scarborough on that show, and I’ve been off the air since the kids were little, and they’re both well into their 30s now.
