the delays at Newark my my wife had to
had to do an event and she was in the
city of New York and so I did I moved
her from from Newark to Lagoria not for
safety but because I needed her flight
to fly she had to get there oh your wife
had to get somewhere phew for a second I
thought the spouse of the Secretary of
Transportation was getting special
travel privileges during an airport
crisis to avoid the same fate as every
other American hoping to make it to
their destination on time but unlike
Shawn Duffy's wife those people don't
have to be anywhere but Secretary Duffy
wasn't the only person today who was
confident enough to broadcast the idea
of rules for thee but not for me today

defend the recently proposed cuts to
Medicaid my understanding is that the
the private rehab facility like the one
that you uh went to would cost in
today's dollar for that same treatment
over
$286,000 out of pocket just for
addiction treatment that I think we can
all agree Republican and Democrat is
absolutely necessary to make sure that
we're keeping our communities safe i
bring this up because there are
congressman there are many really gold
star rehabs that do it for a tiny
fraction like 20 to $40,000 a month
there you go um I bring this up because
in my community the average salary is
$40,000 this might shock you but I do
fear that a Kennedy seems to be just a
tad bit out of touch rfk is saying that
the average American on Medicaid who
needs to go to rehab won't be hurt by
cuts to their program because there are
amazing facilities available at the low
low price of $40,000 a month that's like
saying I don't know why everybody is
whining about the water in Flint
Michigan when bottles of Dom Perinan are
readily available to quench their thirst
today's hearing with RFK was just moment
after moment of the head of health and
human services showcasing why he's unfit
to lead the department can you name sir
which office the safe to sleep campaign
operates out of the which campaign well
that's the one that the senator just
asked you about two minutes ago that
prevents babies from dying in their
sleep most depressing game of trivia
ever is ACF no actually it's in Health
and Human Services and I think and again
they're all within Health and Human
Services but the subdivision is ACF no
actually the name of the office of
children and families no let me tell you
what it is the National Institute of
Child Health and Human Development look
the man hasn't been in the gig that long
there is tons of different departments
and divisions how is he supposed to
remember the name of every single one
it's not like it's named after his own
aunt this is actually the one that your
aunt Ununice Kennedy Shrivever um is the
person who it's named after
yeah and you thought forgetting your
aunt's birthday was bad kennedy spent
hours claiming that he cares about the
health of every American while at the
same time doing absolutely nothing to
push back on the budget cuts that have
been made to NIH you are here to defend
cutting NIH by half i think the cuts
that were
that are now proposed by NIH are going
to hurt i think that President Trump you
know what listen there's no agency head
in the government like myself that wants
to see their budget cut of course not
but there also doesn't seem to be a
single agency head in the government
willing to take a stand against the
haphazard cuts being touted as
efficiency you know for a guy who loves
to boast about his workout regimen he
sure does lack the muscle to confront
his boss but no subject has showcased
just how outofouch RFK is with the
medical community more than his let's
call it loose relationship with vaccines
during his confirmation process he
promised members of Congress and the
American people that if appointed as
head of HHS he would leave his antivax
views at home and yet you canled 12
billion dollars in grants to the states
including my state that are used to
administer and track vaccines you also
promised Chairman Cassidy that the FDA
would not change vaccine standards from
quote historical norms but what happened
as soon as you were sworn in you
announced new standards for vaccine
approvals that you proudly referred to
in your own press release as a radical
departure from current practice and
experts say that that departure will
delay approvals are you actually still
recommending people get the vaccine or
are you not senator if I advise you to
swim in a lake that I knew there to be
alligators in wouldn't you want me to
tell you there were alligators in it no
no no he's not imposing his own baseless
antivax views on people he's merely
likening getting vaccinated to swimming
in a lake with an apex predator against
whom any human is assured certain death
you got to love too that the first
analogy he could conjure up had to do
with swimming in dangerous lakes when
this weekend he saw signs that said no
swimming due to bacteria filled waters
and had one word in response
cannonball yes Robert F kennedy really
hates waste unless he happens to be
swimming in it and while RFK may likely
be suffering from actual diarrhea
Christy Gnome showed up on Capitol Hill
today with a different kind of diarrhea
diarrhea of the mouth madam Secretary
you agree that the letters MS and the
number 13 in Times Roman numeral font
that they are doctorred on this photo
right
Congressman Garcia no no I'm just asking
about this photo it wasn't based off of
tattoos it was based off an entire case
and I'll accept I'll accept that case
against him for the purpose of this
question you agree though that this is
doctor is that right the same protocols
that are I want you to have credibility
looking for Christy Gnome to have
credibility is almost as futile as going
through Matt Gates's text to find women
old enough to vote that was Democratic
Congressman Eric Swallwell who continued
pressing Gnome on her parade of
madam Secretary I have a 7-year-old a
6-year-old and a three-year-old i have a
detector i'm just asking you is
this doctorred or not doctorred sir the
protocols in the case built against the
question were exactly the same i don't
have any knowledge as to that photo
you're pointing to i can't I can't get
over how none of these people understand
Photoshop as far as Christy Nome is
concerned this is completely real like
her counterpart RFK Secretary Gnome sat
in front of Congress today to defend the
2026 budget cuts as well as her
department's recent actions on
immigration and their refusal to follow
Supreme Court orders demanding the
facilitation of the release of Abrego
Garcia to the United States what steps
have you taken to return Mr abrego
Garcia to allow him to get due process
garcia is in his home country for this a
court order says that you must take
steps to follow the court order you are
here under oath what steps have you
taken to return Mr orgo Garcia pursuant
to this court order it's got to be
extremely dis discouraging to be one of
your constituents to see you fight for a
terrorist like this and not fight for
them is extremely uh alarming did you
hear the gasps in that room it sounded
like Christy Gnome shot her dog again
secretary Gnome is willfully conflating
the right to due process with defending
a terrorist and this is how members of
this administration and the Republicans
who support them operate to circumvent
the Constitution they relabel people as
enemies of the state and even attempt to
redefine the entire immigration issue as
something it's not mnome are you
familiar with article 1 section 9 clause
2 of the constitution that covers the
suspension of the rid of habius corpus
yes it says that the rid of habius
corpus shall not be suspended unless
when cases of rebellion or invasion the
public safety may require it you
testified under oath I believe that the
Biden administration allowed an invasion
into our country is that correct that is
correct so do you think it falls under
the constitutional guidelines that I
just read to you i think I'm not a
constitutional lawyer but I believe uh
it it does damn right she's not a
constitutional lawyer she is a
magician because she's making everyone's
rights disappear this administration
came into office and strategically
labeled the immigration issue as an
invasion as nothing more than a pretense
to strip due process rights away from
all Americans by suspending habius
corpus but you can't claim things are
worse than they are just to justify your
actions i mean what are you the police
trump's cabinet members don't think the
rules or the constitution applies to
them and Americans are sick and tired of
their oh uh what's the
word
