I have o money in the stock market. (77 years old so i'm done with stock market investments)my question is

The Billionaires love money. THAT i'm sure of. So as a final measure, (when we have no other options left) would a MASS withdraw from the stock market get their attention? THEY want to control us, and i'm sure many Democrats DO have money in the markets. Would this be something that would get their attention?

If I sell, I lose income from long-invested stocks and have to cough up capital gains on decades worth of investments purchased expressly with the strategy of never selling them. That is quite a loss for the limited impact it might have.

I seriously doubt it would be effective.

When our friends, family and neighbors were buying bigger homes, taking expensive vacations and leasing luxury cars, living like they were rich, my partner and I were living like we were poor and investing in index funds and single stocks, avoiding debt and driving older cars, going on inexpensive vacations and living debt free so that we could retire with dignity. I don't think this is a good idea as our retirement happiness depends on our investments. Have a great day!

Individual private ownership of stocks is a drop in the bucket compaired to corporate investments. We're just along for the ride that they control. And I don't worry, they want to make money too.
