Blueprint Polling has some suggestions on moving on

https://blueprint-research.com/polling/back-to-basics-3-6/
Blueprint is a Democratic type polster, let's get that out of the way from the get go. Where they differ from most Dem polsters is that they aren't trying to spoon feed you feel good numbers for you to use in some online shouting match with your brother in law. Prior to the election they did a lot of polling on which issues resonate with voters, and were largely ignored of course. Post election they polled minority working class Trump voters, or vote switchers, that kind of thing.

It seems like Blueprint is looking to help us to win elections, and I'm ok with that. To win elections we need more voters, simple as that.

They also try out different messages. They do some break down with independents, Democrats, and Republicans. I wish they had more but the poll was only of 1,383 people. I'm much more interested on how things set with Dems and Indies, they are mostly who we need to win. Remember, on any given issue 10% of our party might feel differently, on some issues there are even stronger differences.
