Last week, the most popular topic for calling reps on the @5calls.org app by far was supporting @npr.org and @pbsnews.org — per data exclusively shared with us.

That was true across most of the 50 states.

The phone scripts are quite nice … you can add your own two cents to make your calls more personal + track the calls you make.

I was surprised I could not find a script about cuts to NOAA + the National Weather Service. There was a script about FEMA.

I will email 5calls + ask that they include a NOAA/NWS script + see what kind of response I receive, particularly as today is the 1st day of hurricane season for the Pacific. The Atlantic season starts 06/01/2025 + staffing shortages are beginning to be a concern.
