The point is the content of the discussion, the audience and the unsecured communication channels.

Of course Republican owned media will just repeat that no “war plans” were discussed.

IF the media actually says this (which I highly doubt) then they will say that they can’t discuss national security issues publicly.

But the follow-up should be: you already did discuss national security issues publicly. WHY??
