The only reason it didn't pass is because Landry made the mistake of not making it enough about race, sex or sexual orientation.

If he had said "trans kids support a "no" vote" then it would have passed with 99%.

Or thrown a bunch racist dog whistles in the bill to put more kids in prison, it would have passed with 99%.
Republicans don't vote for things, they vote against things.
A Republican will support anything you tell them to vote for as long as they think that voting for it will hurt Blacks and Hispanics or women or LGBTQ people more than it will hurt white Christian males.
