I worked 60 hours straight once when I was in my 30's, in order to meet a deadline. The majority of this time was spent sitting down, not standing on my feet like Senator Booker is.
During this same general time period, I worked 20 to 30 hours straight several times for the same reason.
These efforts messed me up to some degree permanently.
I am watching Senator Booker on YouTube right now.
I have a feeling he is going to keep pushing, unless he has a pre-determined plan to stop after X number of hours.
I know how he is feeling right now. He is charged up, and he is running on adrenaline. He's not feeling how this is harming his mind and body.
If he goes for another 7 or 8 hours, he's going to start slurring his words, and his muscles are going to start aching, much more than they probably are now.
I might be wrong, but I think he is going to try to push through it. He's making a point. He's sacrificing himself.
I think it's a goddamn shame that someone has to go through this to at least try to slow down a madman.
We owe Senator Booker a debt of gratitude.
We have been asking for someone on our side to fight, and he is leading the way.
This is what non-violent fighting looks like.
And it's all to slow down a malignant narcissist.
It's a shame it has to be done in the first place.
Again, I could certainly be wrong, but I think he's going to go until he has to be carried out.
I think that since he's gone this far, he's going to keep going and earn his rightful place in history books.
