But as someone who is a long time veteran of ultra-efforts (24 hour bike races, 48 hour bike races, 3 days without sleep on the job, etc., very long hauls in grad school)

He's not harming himself permanently, and no medical professionals need intervene.

This kind of thing FEEDS a person. He will be exhausted when he is done, and then he will rest, rest well, and he will come back stronger. That's how it works.

And I LOVE that he's beaten that shit stain on our country, Strom Thrumond!
