9. Before Trump took office, I had a confused take on protests.

Confession time.

My first idea was that we should hold off on mass protest until later. I didn’t want to give Trump the excuse to impose martial law early on while we were getting ourselves organized.

But I was totally wrong. Seeing others join in like this has been a big morale boost for me and I think for others. It gets the word out and gets discussions going. We still have a long ways to go though. So many people I saw on my way walking from where I parked to the protest while carrying my sign were just going about their ordinary day. Maybe it was my projection, but they seemed remarkably incurious.
