… how and why Vice President JD Vance got where he is.

Peter Thiel is yet another Out of South Africa billionaire (as is Musk) whose money is transnational and who feels that US borders and laws have nothing to do with him. Thiel is Vance’s patron, and essentially bought him a US Senate seat — which was Vance’s first-ever political campaign and elected office. Being V-POTUS is his second political office.

Vance is yet another slimy American right-winger who is making good, if by “good” you mean getting in on the wealth and power. He is deep into Project 2025, which is rapidly overthrowing our government and reducing it to rubble.

What Vance is not, is stupid. Vance is not stupid. Do not either underestimate or overestimate your enemy.

Trump is not invincible, but he has escaped consequences for 2 impeachments and 1 Capitol insurrection, and has returned to office backed by Project 2025 and holding all 3 branches of government.

It may be satisfying to fantasize about ways of getting rid of the bastard, but it appears that one of the best things we can do is join the resistance and bleed him by making the lives of MAGAGOP politicians miserable. Weaken trump by showing up in great numbers — check out the Indivisible plan — start watching Rachel Maddow’s extensive coverage of the resistance if you don’t believe me.
