14. My sister was in a nursing facility when Idaho State Legislators decided to cut Medicaid.

Within a day the facility was in turmoil. Without the payments, special aides, deliveries of healthcare supplies, and care payments of Medicaid residents the internal system of the facility all but collapsed. Aides were looking to lose their jobs and the manager of the facility was in shock. It felt like my sister was the only private pay resident there. From that experience I can confidently say the collapse of our assisted living, nursing home system will not last a month if Medicaid is killed. People will be on the street in or home with relatives if this bill succeeds! It was a terrible experience for everyone involved.
