I learned a tough lesson tonight [View all]

You know that saying that goes something like, "Don't ask questions if you might not be able to live with the answers you get"?

I was swept up in a reorganization at work, and have a new manager. Curious to learn more about them, in a moment of absolute idiocy, I decided to look up their possible campaign contributions on the FEC website to get a sense of what kind of person they might be, and- oh my gosh. Thousands and thousands of dollars over the last 10 years to Trump, MAGA endorsed PACs, MAGA candidates.... groups and people who are vocally against people like me and my loved ones.

I feel sick. I shouldn't have looked that up. I don't know how I am going to work for this person.
