what trump said last week, when he was asked about the supreme court ruling on immunity.

He said yes, the ruling would apply to Biden, but not for his advisors.

it seems immunity is for the president only.

This falls right into trump's MO. If you are caught you are stupid and deserve what you get. He demands loyalty and offers none.
