TFG's EO of encouraging federal employees to proselytize "religion" [View all]

(and we all understand that means Protestant/Evangelical/Fundamentalist Christianity) at the workplace.

And we can foresee potential problems with this new edict.

1. It will disrupt the workplace. Not everyone wants to be a Christian and/or to convert, especially when they came to work -- to do work. That's why they have Church.

2. If you disagree or become contentious about the irksome proselytizing, you risk job security. (I've been fired for less.)

3. Further, if you vociferously disagree or become contentious about the irksome proselytizing -- or you simply invoke The Constitution/First Amendment's Establishment Clause, and/or inconvenient facts (The Treaty of Tripoli), you risk a lawsuit, claiming that you were persecuting a humble Christian who was simply "sharing The Word".

This too will end up in Court. I'm sure that Roy Torcaso's USSC case will be cited. https://www.oyez.org/cases/1960/373
