I live in a low cost of living state and just checked the prices at my local grocery store online and they are $6.99/lb, for 80%, $7.79/lb for 85%, $8.49/lb for 93%. And that's just the generic store brand meat at a run-of-the-mill (i.e., not high-end) national grocery store chain.
