3. It all makes sense to me

Trump is a sexual predator who lusted after teenage girls, including his own daughter. He was best friends with Epsten for years while rich men had sex with girls recruited by Maxwell. I would bet my entire retirement savings that Trump had sex with one or more (very likely MORE) of these girls, which is criminal rape.

When Qanon came up with the crazy conspiracy theory that Democrats were raping, killing, and drinking the blood of children, and that Donald Trump was heroically working on exposing them, why wouldn't he take political advantage of that?

The only reason he wouldn't is that he was guilty of raping girls procured by Epstein & Maxwell, and that HE would be exposed if the facts ever saw the light of day. But in his arrogance and hubris he wasn't overly concerned, as he's never been truly held accountable for his long record of crime and fraud.

Now that his own base is clamoring for the release of the investigative and prosecutorial files to expose Epstein's clients, and this story persists in the news cycle, he is throwing everything against the wall in the hope that something sticks.

He barely knew Epstein (despite all the chummy photos) and thinks he's a creep. He'd never been to the island, but Bill Clinton was 28 times (even though he's said he doesn't know what's in the files). Obama and Comey and Biden are "the scum of the earth" for presumably falsifying the files to implicate Trump.

Of course what Trump says doesn't make sense when taken at face value, but it makes perfect sense in the context of a guilty pathological liar known for outlandish assertions and contradictory statements.

It makes sense that Mike Johnson recessed Congress early to avoid voting on this matter, hoping it will go away.

It makes sense that the assistant Attorney General (who was Trump’s personal attorney in the Stormy Daniels case and has long been friends with Maxwell's attorney) is having private meetings with Ghislaine Maxwell, who is highly motivated to absolve Trump to obtain a reduced sentence or a presidential pardon.

It makes sense that all the president's men and women are working overtime to protect this POtuS and to distract from this case by launching investigations into Obama, Comey, Biden, and others.

It all makes sense to me.

And, sadly, I wouldn't be surprised if Donald Trump is never truly held accountable for his crimes.
