In reply to the discussion: Trying to cancel my hulu account. [View all]Mblaze
(874 posts)25. I canceled last night
It took awhile. I couldn't do it on their site so I Googled something like "Contact a live person at Hulu" and was able to have a text chat with someone who was very nice and helped me cancel.
He asked me why and I wrote Jimmy Kimmel. Immediately, a kind of disclaimer statement came up that tried to excuse Hulu from the decision. It was ready to go. I still canceled and praised the chat person for his professionalism and kindness. I told him that I hope he wasn't being watched by Corporate and he thanked me for caring.

I only have a free 30 day trial and can't seem to cancel that but was able to cancel the auto payment at trial's end...

Cancelling auto payment on whatever bank card account you have it on is probably the easiest.

I wouldn't recommend that. Better to call CC company and instruct them to stop payments.

What will REALLY make a difference is if mass cancellations of ESPN occur (all Disney-owned)...

More than likely, they are hoping people will give up and not try back to cancel.
