There were 4 Democrats out of over 210 who voted for it in the House. They should be condemned for that, but even if those 4 voted no, it still would have passed.
To pass the Senate, it needs 7 Democrats out of 47. That ain't going to happen. Most Democratic Senators have already publicly stated they will never vote for it.
Yes, everything possible and necessary MUST be done to make sure it never passes. In the meantime, many on the left ignore this:
The requirement to present a birth certificate would disproportionately affect conservative and Republican-leaning women, who are at least twice as likely as liberal or Democratic-leaning women to have changed their name to match their husbands last name.
