2. The constitution REQUIRES counting non-citizens

It requires counting ALL residents of the US. And beginning with the very 1st census in 1790, EVERY US Census has counted ALL persons residing in the US, NOT just citizens. (Chip Roy is an asshole, a racist AND a moron). Beyond that, including all the prep work, it takes more than a decade to do all the work involved in conducting a census. There will be a census in 2030 (constitutionally mandated). But even if they wanted to ignore the constitution and do a mid-decade census, the earliest they could pull one off at this point would be around 2035. Doing another census before 2030 would literally be logistically impossible.
