Hybrids yes, but those have been around forever (the broiler you buy is a fast growing hybrid breed of chicken).

So it's physically impossible for any food companies right now to be using bioengineered meat to any extent.

The closest thing there is are specially engineered pigs for people with alpha-gal syndrome who are allergic to mammalian meat.
