2. Over the many years I've had cops

"relieve me" of cash that I supposedly never had, I've been stopped at night after working a double shift and ordered out of my vehicle and immediately hit in the face with a spotlight and told to walk to them on a gravel shoulder and then harangued about why I was "unsteady" while walking to them while blinded. I've had them stop me and accuse me of hauling stolen freight because the BOL was handwritten instead of being typed. I've had them stop me and claim I was suspicious because I had a full load leaving the toll booth and was winding out each gear before shifting just like my old school self has always done. I've been stopped when bob-tailing and had the cops claim they were going to write me a ticket because I didn't have a rear license plate. I've been pulled over on the pretext that my trailer taillights were out but when I walked to the back with cop for him to show me they were all working fine.

I could list a bunch more if I really sat and thought hard to remember. But when you've been driving professionally for the better part of 60 years you're likely to have your share of stories to tell and some are way back in the mind.
