I was one of them. I still have a lingering cough (particularly at night). And yes, it's been nasty. My oldest son was also down but my husband managed to skate free. The other three flu/virus recipients were from my younger son's household. We all had varying degrees of a 'death warmed over' experience.
We all had our flu shots.
