In reply to the discussion: Bystander films the crying wife of Minneapolis woman shot dead by ICE [View all]SunSeeker
(57,608 posts)23. No, they were driving home together after taking her 6 year old to school.
Per AP:
Her ex-husband, who asked not to be named out of concern for the safety of their children, said Good had just dropped off her 6-year-old son at school Wednesday and was driving home with her current partner when they encountered a group of ICE agents on a snowy street in Minneapolis, where they had moved last year from Kansas City, Missouri.

I recall hearing one of the bystanders yelling, "You killed my neighbor!" at ICE after the shooting. I think she came upon the ICE vehicles blocking her street and could not go further to get to her home. Probably at that point her partner and their dog exited the vehicle to walk the rest of the way while she stayed in the car to figure out where to move her car, or wait until ICE moved, which they appeared to be doing. But in the video in the OP, the bystander notes her wife is covered in blood, so maybe she did not get out until the vehicle crashed, or , she ran to her after the crash and got covered in blood then. I notice only the driver's side airbag deployed. That would indicate there was nobody sitting in the passenger seat at the time of crash, otherwise both airbags would have deployed.
Regardless, she was just trying to park at her house. But, ICE thought she was a protester blocking the road and got a hard on to arrest her. That's when ICE in the silver pickup stopped instead of going around her, unlike the other ICE vehicles which simply drove around her and left. The ICE guys in the pickup demanded she get out of her car, and you know the rest.

I hope someone sees that and helps her. She doesn't even have a car to pick up her child from school.

Yes, that full video shows a doctor trying to check on the victim and ICE refusing to let him near her.

It's not a stretcher. ICE didn't let EMTs bring in a stretcher, nor let the ambulance come to the car.

I don't think the woman wanted to lose sight of her wife, I know I wouldn't.

Her wife, parents and child have a strong wrongful death case against ICE. nt

Reread my OP. I posted it for the video, not for anything the Daily Mail is saying.

The person crying in the video is seen in other videos *outside* the car shooting video before Good was shot.
