(272 posts)36. I was putting gas in my car and a truck
drove up on the other side. I looking at the gas meter
and the guy who was on the other side said to me,
"You're the reason the world is the way it is".
I looked behind me. Was he talking to me?
I turned back and said, "Who me"?
There has been worse, much worse.
But why the blanket hatred from men?
He was speaking from a comfortable space.
I stayed...until he drove off, first.
