2. May this same sentiment paint every GOP candidate in 2026. That is what we REALLY need.

It is exasperating that the media and many of us fixate on Trump like he IS the GOP. Yes, he has them in s stranglehold but unless things go seriously awry, he won't be on the ballot again. We can say he is the symbol and yes people will vote for or against other candidates based on their alliance with Trump or their platforms opposing his policies but we tried the "Vote against the Bad Guy" in a few elections now and only prevailed once nationally. Heck, hopefully the Coke, Big Macs and hubris will have done him in sooner or later. So lets focus on defeating the rest of the GOP, in detail--the enablers of he and all his minion whackadoodles is the Congress and various wannabe's in the states. Wresting that leverage from the RWers is where the focus needs to be. Let Trump die on the vine as the lame duck that he is. The more he is ignored, the more his narcissism will help him unravel.
