to be able to accurately assess a situation. Dr. King certainly did say that riots are the language of the unheard, though anyone who is familiar with the riots of that era is fully aware that it was those who thought they had nothing left to lose found out they actually did. This is for obvious reasons, not limited to those riots being in or near their neighborhoods, and not in the wealthy neighborhoods. Thus, it was their stores etc that got burned. A few firemen and police were wounded or killed, but by far -- extremely so -- it was the people in their neighborhoods who suffered or died.

The technology and weapons are more than a tad more sophisticated today. The last thing we need today are jackasses who are inspired by Hollywood films and fantasize that they can accomplish anything positive starting violence against ICE et al.
