Reports now show about 16,800 fans have canceled their World Cup tickets worldwide and that number is still climbing fast. This isn’t about bad flights or hotel prices. This is people saying they are walking away from the tournament entirely because they do not feel safe going to the United States given the current climate created by ICE tactics under the Trump administration and aggressive immigration enforcement that many see as a real threat to visitors.
