(559 posts)21. This opinion is probably going to be very unpopular on this site, but I think they should testify. They were subpoenaed
and by law are required to do so. Just because the other side routinely violates it doesn't mean we should follow their example.
And the right wing media sphere will never let the public hear the end of this, I can hear "Crooked HIliary and Bill" all over again. And the conspiracy theories regarding the Clintons will go into high gear.
The only hope for a return to a lawful society is for at least one side to observe it. Once our side starts violating it, the rule of law is over folks, and it ain't coming back.
The Clinton's are making a huge mistake, which is going to damage our country.

I agree that the subpoena is based on B.S., but it is still the law of the land, and we cannot expect the other side to

As well as it should be. The Clintons are in under no legal obligation to jump through Republican hoops.
