If stepped on, Philly does not play nice. There are guns everywhere, and plenty of their owners are not afraid to use them. I was there 50 years ago, but back then, the place was corrupt as could be, right up to its Mafia mayor (Rizzo), with many gangs ruling their turf with an iron fist. A group of 20 ICE thugs could easily find themselves quickly surrounded by an armed gang of twice as many who will not hesitate to open fire if the ICE goons do not depart instantly, leaving their weapons and radios behind, “or else.”

I’ve never been to Minnesota, but I’ve heard the phrase “Minnesota nice.” To use Tina Turner’s classic comparison, where Minneapolis may be nice, Philly can be nice and rough. They’d be better off attacking Des Moines, or some such place.
