(1,480 posts)Do you have a link that shows interviews for claims against Trump specifically? Nothing I can find supports that there were 40-50 women interviewed who made specific allegations against Trump. There are lots of uncorroborated tips that didn't result in anything. BBC, Newsweek, CNN, NBC News all say the same thing.
It feels like people are hoping for a magic out to Trump rather than there's actual evidence. We have plenty of things we absolutely have evidence Trump is doing and has done to go after him on, and we need to be working on building up our own brand as a party. Because worst case scenario, Trump isn't president come January 20th, 2029, but short of dying, unless someone has smoking gun evidence, that's also the most likely scenario. We need to be something other than just the "Trump is awful" party because he's not going to be around that much longer relatively speaking and we need to counter the rise of right wing nationalism that's happening everywhere and is the source of Trump's power just like it's the source of Meloni's power in Italy, Farage in the UK, etc.
