Decent Americans cheered the Buddhist monks on, but alas, assholes showed up too. . . [View all]

So the Buddhist Monks walk was not all peace.
People cursed them.
Shouted at them.
They said that many people stepped on the gas peddle so that the black smoke covered all the monks.

How did they react?

The monks wished them well, wished them peace and happiness.
