I didn't have a script written out I just spoke from the heart and said that the men's team was incredibly disrespectful to the women's team who had way more success on a global stage and did it for less money. That not a single one of them was brave enough to say "that's not funny" and how every woman deserved an apology from them.

If you still don't want to call him on the phone his website has an email contact form that you can use and say whatever you want.

Join me in letting the org know how this made you feel, it takes less than 5 minutes out of your day.

Here's my call script that I wrote:

Hello, my name is electric_oven. I’m calling as a fan and as a new mother — I gave birth three weeks ago.

I’m deeply disturbed and disgusted by the men’s hockey team’s recent locker room actions and the decision to celebrate alongside a public figure who has a record of defending or minimizing sexual misconduct and abuse. It is morally repugnant.

The women’s hockey players in this country have worked tirelessly to build credibility, integrity, and respect for the sport. They’ve fought for fair treatment and have represented this game with character and discipline. Watching the men undermine that is heartbreaking.

You may have won a gold medal, but integrity matters more than medals. Character matters more than championships.

As a mother holding a newborn daughter, I am asking you to show leadership and accountability. The culture you tolerate is the culture you create.

Please do better.

Love yours. This was my email:

"I’m a longtime supporter of USA Hockey, and I was disappointed by how the women’s team was referenced during the recent celebration of the men’s team. The women earned gold as well, and their achievement deserves to stand on its own. As someone who grew up being told sports weren’t for girls, I care a lot about how women athletes are treated, and I hope USA Hockey will make sure both teams are honored equally moving forward."

Thank you. I used the main portion of your script adding this to for my intro:

I am writing as a long time female hockey player, USA Hockey member and organizer of one of Minnesota's largest adult women's hockey tournaments.

I along with many of my female peers have spent years supporting and advancing the growth of women's hockey.
