In reply to the discussion: Has there been any word on our California Peggy? I am very worried. [View all]soldierant
(9,338 posts)66. It would truly surprise me if she were well enough to post yet.
I had an endometrioma (benign) removed in my early 40s - no major organ such as lung or heart was touched. That was long before the internet, but I was in the hospital for five days, and they almost didn't release me then - I had an allergic fever (probably from exposure to all the disinfectants used in keeping the place clean) and they didn't get it. But had there been laptops, I truly doubt they would have let me have one. Of course today we have phones (I don't, but that's me) but still - a lung is a major organ and she is probably being kept bust with breathing exercises and has one or more IVs.

I'm concerned, as well, hope anyone who hears anything will share, as I am not on Facebook.

Yw. Likely the Photography members would be the first to hear any updates.

Or her daughter can quickly become a DU member. She doesn't need her password to post about her.
