The vocal and growing opposition in Iran, the protesters that were inspiring change, the ones our country wanted to support, are gone now. The brutal regime of hardliners now has support of even most of the protesters. And Khomenei's son is more brutal than he.

This attack has doomed the people of Iran to generations more of living under an oppressive and totalitarian government.
