Many things can be true at one time.

Does the US need Britain’s help in the straight of Hormuz?

If the British wanted to help, which they don’t, could they since most all of their ships are out of commission?

As someone who attended the funeral of my good friend’s 20 year old son who was killed in Afghanistan in Bush’s war of lies, I like that Trump isn’t putting boots on the ground but rather using the power of the purse to force Iran into submission. Without Iran being able to sell oil, that is putting more real pressure on them than boots on the ground wood and saving more Iranian lives.

I have gone with my friend to her son’s grave many times. It never stops being sad and it never stops being a preventable death for him, thousands of American soldiers and hundreds of thousands of people in Iraq andAfghanistan. Bush is a criminal from start to finish.

As do the people of Iran, are they being horribly abused by the Iranian regime? Are they regularly marrying off nine-year-old girls to old men? Did they murder 40,000 of their own people in January alone? Do they regularly hang protesters? Is it OK for me to hope that 90 million people are free from a brutal dictatorship well at the same time still not liking Trump at all? Is it OK for me to want people to be free from abuse and torture more than I hate Trump?
