The Supreme Court justices should NOT be appointed for life.

There should be TERM LIMITS.

How ‘bout 12-year terms for the SCOTUS folks? Doesn’t have to be 12, though. It could be 16, or maybe 20 years for Supreme Court justices. But that would be that.

The president gets two terms, so that’s eight years max. And that’s it. I THINK it’s the same for governors but I’m not sure about that.

As for the Senate and House, senators get six-year terms and Congresspeople get two-year terms. Folks in both those categories do have to run for reelection if they want to stay in, but there should be limitations. Seems to me only fair that they should have term limits, too (if they don’t, already).

Whaddya think?
