I wonder if Kevin Warsh, Trump's nominee for fed chair [View all]

will actually be able to screw up the economy. The Fed chairman does not have the power to decide by themselves to raise or lower interest rates. It is done by the Fed's board of governors which votes for it. A strong chairman can influence it, but they still only have one vote.
