How to Fold a Fitted Sheet (Step‑by‑Step, No Nonsense)
1. Hold the sheet inside‑out
Put your hands into two adjacent corners of the long side.

The sheet should be inside‑out and hanging vertically.

2. Tuck one corner into the other
Bring your right hand to your left hand.

Flip the right‑hand corner over the left‑hand corner so they nest together.

Now you’re holding two corners in one hand.

3. Find the next corner and repeat
With your free hand, grab the third corner (still inside‑out).

Bring it to the pair you’re holding and tuck it in the same way.

4. Add the fourth corner
Grab the last corner and fold it into the stack.

At this point, all four corners are nested together, and the sheet looks like a long, uneven rectangle.

5. Lay the sheet down
Place it on a flat surface (bed, table, countertop).

Smooth it into a clean rectangle — the elastic edges will form one side.

6. Fold into thirds lengthwise
Fold the long rectangle into thirds, smoothing as you go.

You should now have a long, neat strip.

7. Fold into thirds again (or quarters)
Fold the strip into a square or rectangle that matches your linen‑closet style.

Press it flat with your hands for a crisp finish.

You actually fold fitted sheets instead of wadding them up in a ball and stuffing them in a drawer? Ocelot II Apr 30 #1
