get out of the situation, for example, not rolling back voting rights. Or not redistricting. That would be the easiest way to resolve things. But clearly they're not doing that.

They are not hostages, they are fully complicit in what's happening. They want to remain in power and they will not lift a finger to hold tRump accountable.
