2. The Right likes to jump the gun, on everything

They don't understand the scientific process and how useful scientific consensus is reached.

So they take a few early studies that show promise for Ibogaine and think it's a miracle. We're at the Ibogaine shows promise and deserves more study stage, we're not at the people should use it to self medicate stage. It is dangerous and can cause serious cardiac events, but with further study it could prove safe and effective.

It could be a great tool, we don't know yet, and if it does end up being a tool it will still need to be overseen by doctors and a lot of people might not be able to handle it physically or mentally.
