1. Let's hope that the pissed-off young voters actually show up and vote

Without even realizing it, younger voters haven’t helped their cause by being too lazy to go to the polls and vote.
I think back to Obama’s first term. We had the majority in both houses in congress. Then, after all the good that Obama had done to rescue the economy from the Great Recession under GW Bush, and got the ACA passed, Democrats, and young people in particular, got complacent and didn’t show up for the midterms.
We ended up losing our congressional majorities, and the momentum Obama had created came to a screeching halt. Not much got done during the next six years, ushering in the disaster of the Trump presidency.
Let’s hope that young finally seize the power they’re entitled to if they’ll just take it.
