48. I love apartment living, but this is one area of drawback. We don't have enough roof space to power

the number of homes in the building. But as they become more efficient, I can't help but think the day will come when it will be cost effective even for us.

Another is that we don't have a place in our home to recharge a car. There are a few a few blocks away, but I opted for a hybrid. I buy 7 gallons of gas, usually once or twice a month. It works for me.
