2. Hard to know where this will go but likely to be less of a threat after the midterms with a Dem House.

The realities of "mass deportation" are that they have neither sufficient resources nor legal support to make it truly "mass". That said, if they can pick up 5% of those they would like to target and you get caught up in it the negative result is the same for you. I get that they can pick-up the individual green card holder but somehow I really thought that the legal protections when that holder was married to an American citizen were well codified. You think of all the war brides after WW2 and such.
