He will have long been dissapeared from public life by that time. Physical disability will be the initial driver of his self-imposed retreat, not wanting to appear as frail as he is fast becoming. Vascular dementia (what we are most likely seeing now) will continue it’s steady work and could easily be joined by ALZ-type dementia if that disease is not effectively curable by then (and I think it will be).

But I would prefer today. If he could just spontaneously drop over today just to prove me wrong - that would be awesome.
